Remote Starter For '16 A6
Would anyone have any recommendations as to which (aftermarket) 'remote' starter I should investigate installing in '16 A6?
Seen a few, that need some sort of wires coming off of one my FOBs, (helps beat the by-pass device, I guess) but that seems a little tacky.
Is there a nice clean one/unit you can just install or re-program my current FOB to do so? (Many other A6's already have 'remote-start.'
My dealer stated THEY have "shop who does their new-car-sales" for them, so I can only imagine THEIR's [their vendor that is] will NOT ruin the warranty but what if I had a different 3rd party install a much less expensive one.
We're ALL familiar with "current events" re A6 3.0 _DIESELS_ - in that regard, (until things "settles" down a bit, ((get it!) I don't care to risk my car's warranty.)
Any help or guidance is well appreciated in advance. Thank You!

I have a Compustar RF-2W1B-SP Remote Start. It was professionally installed in the fall of 2015. They used the valet key for the bypass. I still have the 2 OEM fobs. I absolutely love mine. I use it year round. It can also be used thru the cell phone to start the car if you want that. I just use the fob supplied by compustar.
Remember if you build it into the OEM fob you will be limited to the range it has.
My installer warrantees their work for life and has a great relationship with the local dealership so I doubt warranty will be an issue.
