Remove side mirror housing

Anyone have any idea how to open up the side mirrors' housing? My folding mirrors really struggle to close and feel like they need a little grease...

Bump. My drivers side mirror opens and closes slower than the passengers

Try some aerosol silicone lube before taking them apart. There were early threads about the gaskets ripping when the 2012 hit the shores.
