I played around with the addressed in Google. I input some addresses right within the Google website. Full addresses with zip code, including some with "United States of America". Come with a comma between the city and state, some without a comma. Clicking on the them they come up in Google maps no problem.

Synced with my phone, then synced with the car. Addresses are synced with the MMI. I can display the addresses. Looking at the "private address" within the MMI it looks like it is parsed perfectly.

However, then I try to create a navigation address and it does not work. Always get the "can't create navigation destination" error. But it is inconsistent. I went through my address book and the MMI was able to create navigation addresses from some of them. No rhyme or reason I can see.

If anyone has some tricks on that let me now. I can Send to Car, but I don't plan on keeping the service once the 6 month trial is over.

Reread my last post, carefully. ESPECIALLY the last sentence. If you are typing commas, you did not follow it I'm guessing.

That's what I did. I went into my Google address book, input an address, then clicked on the 3 dots next to the address...

The window with the address came up and everything looked perfectly formatted.

OK then I'm out of ideas because that seemed to fix it for me.

In the mmi contact are you using the address with the checker flag to navigate to? Sometimes it takes a second for that one to show.

I don't have a checkered flag in the MMI. It never creates that address from the stored mailing address; that's when I get the error that the address can not be created.

I wonder how to contact Audi... They must have looked at this given the millions of Android users / Google Maps users out there.
