Default SDXD Compatible

Anyone know if the Audi SD card slots are SDXD compatible?
Also, did anyone get this card? it's on woot for 50$ for 64GB. I love bluetooth audio, but I barely have any control over it and there is like a 4 second latency.

So I'm wondering if that SDXD card is compatible, can anyone share any thoughts on the SD card source? I currently have a 4gb card and I loved it instantly more than the Bluetooth.

I am also waiting for my MMI which is contained in a Q7. My reading is the limitation may be more the number of files rather than the number of GB on the card. I think it is 4000 files or something like that. I also read the card max is 32 GB SDHC. If any gets a SDXD or 64 card to work, let us know.

I ordered the 64Gb, I read you can format it to work under the SDHC platform.

I'll keep everyone posted.

Will look forward to your report on the compatibility. I had planned to buy a 32GB card but 64 would be more future-proof

I received it earlier today and from the get-go it is "unreadable" by the Audi. It specifically displays that. So it does detect it.

I'm about to go sit down in the car and just keep formatting and partitioning it until I get a hit and I'll get back to you guys.

Update: So I was able to successfully format it into a single partition of 64gb (real size is 61.4gb) that is readable by the car.

Use this Partition mini tool. Just download the home edition, it's free and virus free.

Select your 64GB SD card, right click and select create, select the Fat32 format and make it from a Logical to a Primary partition. Hit ok to close the window, then you must hit apply top left on the main page so it can do all the actions and Vola.

I'm currently moving over 30GB (over 2,000 files) of music onto the SD card in order to actually see if it can read all of them. But the car had no problem detecting it.

Not a problem, I'll happily put my geek on anywhere I can.

I'm happy to report it was able to read 50GB worth of music, it's a little over 4,000 files and 100 folders.

You can also import individual music or folders from the SD cards. I'm going to try and see if it can play any other media files. If it can play DVDs, it must be able to read VOB files.

OMG, it can play AVI files! But it will not play while moving.

Ok so this is a lot of info, what is the best way to organize the folders? What software would I use to create playlists? Just thinking about how would I play 4000 songs
