Should I pay $2500 for a three years extended warranty?

Buying an extended warranty makes sense IMO, especially if its administered by Fidelity or another provider that has no dollar limits.
For reference, I paid 3000 for a 2yr/24K mile coverage at gold level because the car was already out of warranty. The more you bundle in the beginning, the cheaper it is for you as a buyer. This of-course only applies if you know how much these warranties typically go for and are able to do a price/feature comparison against such a reference.

I second jasonlitka. I bought my tire & rim warranty from them (administered by Fidelity, same guys who'd do yours if you buy the policy from dealer) and nobody I checked could beat them on price. Tell Troy Dietrich (tdietrich@fd-warranty.com) that Lee from NYC sent you.
I've heard good things about these guys. I wouldn't buy until your factory warranty is about over though.
