Sirius XM Traffic on CPO cars
When I bought my CPO on January 31st, it already had Sirius Traffic enabled and active. When, I transferred my old subscription over, at no time did the rep mention anything about Sirius traffic or any other data services.
Monday it stopped working; I figured it's just a glitch and it will start working soon... Today, when it still did not work, I decided to call and figure out what happened because I was under the impression, based on info from Audi, that I am eligible for 4 years of traffic data from first date of service.
Amazingly (or not), Sirius has no record of the car ever having any data services; be it with the old owner or me. They are telling me 'your radio is not capable of traffic data' even though I assured them many a-time that it does.
Anyway - I am just trying to understand whether CPO owners are eligible for continuation of the 4-year complimentary subscription or, the fact that it worked for me for a couple of weeks, was mere fluke...

you should get 4 years of traffic for free. I had to call Sirius and was able to get it with no issues, but then again, i gave them my VIN and after looking it up they saw i was eligible. weird how they are saying you aren't...

I called AoA and they told me the following:
My car was originally a loaner - so the service was never activated nor was it eligible. The car was then sold as a CPO, probably (they can't check - I am checking with the dealer) - at which point it became eligible for 3 months trial. I am probably the 2nd real owner and as such - no soup for me
