Default Speed camera warning

Has anyone found a way to program the NAVI to warn when approaching speed cameras? I know that there is a solution for DVD based navigation on older Audis (Navpoint) but haven't found one for C7.

I guess one could input some of the most relevant speed camera coordinates manually but how to notice the alert(s)?

Don't speed. Problem solved.

I'm sure with some fancy programming you could make it work.

It would be cool if one could program it to turn all the traffic lights green as you approach like the Police, Fire and ambulance folks can do in many areas. “Look out folks, Audi coming through!”

Depends on the location he's at. The Escort does NOT have the new NYC speed cameras in it, and never will, because they move them all the time. Even the police precincts don't know where they'll be at any given time. Damn things are making my life miserable. They're on the X and K bands, and so are most supermarket doors, so you never know whats false and whats real. My V1 could show 5 radars at any given time and they could all be false or some could be false and others the camera or cops.

That really helped, thanks

Anyway, I guess the limitations of MMI come into play here. Just thought some one could have a creative idea? Other than opting for an extra gadget (already have that on my phone).

I live in scandinavia so we have only stationary cameras here. That makes a warning system quite usefull. The most annoying cameras are those that measure average speed within two points. It's not a problem if you set the ACC and chill but if you forget to do that and overspeed slightly you get a ticket..

Regardless. It's for a reassurance, not intentionally braking the law.

As a matter of fact.. Yes.

Just my usual morning answers.

I am sure there is a way to program anything with the proper information into the system. Might be more trouble than it's worth but I am sure someone can figure it out.
