I believe I've read that there would also be some code changing necessary to make it work.

Installed the steering wheel and it works perfectly. Now I have heat and paddle shifter. The best $200 spent.

Update: Increased the default temperature of 28°C to 32°C and I can definitely feel the difference. The steering wheel will heat until it reaches 33°C then stop. When temperature drops to 31°C, current will kick in and heat up steering to 33°C.

Great to hear! I have a non-sport wheel and would love to snag this sport wheel, but the different airbag makes it cost-prohibitive
Though i dont have heated steering, so i wonder if the heat button will just function like my current programmable button?

I'm curious about the same thing...I have a sport steering wheel without heat, but wondering if it'd be plug and play if I installed this sport wheel with heating. In other words, does the power supply that allows the * button to work also power the heating element in the heated sport wheel? If so, I'm buying for sure, $200 would be well worth it.

I am pretty sure the heat button will not function like the * button, which is the voice guidance on/off.

The * button does not require additional power supply. The heating feature has an additional connector on the steering wheel which you can plug into the steering column. But I am not sure if your car has that additional power supply connector since you do not have heated steering wheel to begin with. You can remove the airbag and take a look first. It only take 10 minutes.

Update: This is what you need. The bottom left translucent connector is the power supply to heated steering wheel.

Would you happen to have the part number of this clock spring? Thanks
