Last week I performed an Oil Change on my TDI. I sent a 200ml sample out to Blackstone Labs for analysis which was returned on Friday. Here are the results -




For those unfamiliar with Blackstone Labs, for $25 they will provide you the same information specific to your engine. It's a great insight and can help identify possible issues before they become problems! I'll do another analysis at the next AudiCare Oil Change (15k) and compare the two, then likely hold off awhile.

Wish more folk would share their oil analysis. Here is mine. My TDI seems to have high wear rates, but is working great.
