Default Time to change the rotors and pads...

Anyone know the best way to determine if the car has 356mm front rotors or 345mm?

I'm thinking of going with EBC sport rotors with redstuff pads.

I swapped in StopTech rotors and pads on my 2.7T when it was time and was pleased with the performance although they were a bit noisy. I have the EBC's running on another vehicle and they are quiet and strong.

Edited to add, Prestige with sport package is 356mm front rotors...

Those look really cool. I believe we have 356 front and 330 in the rear.

Are you replacing the calipers too?

They do as of a couple of months ago. It took them a while to spec and stock the 356mm rotors.

No, just the rotors and pads. When I did the StopTec set on my las Audi, I replaced the rubber brake lines with braided stainless lines but I don't think I want to go through the trouble this time as I did not notice any difference.

I'll take some pics as I do the swap in case anyone is interested. I've been looking for a reason to get a VagCom, now I have it!

They were flummoxed as the rotors are new and were not yet in their system.
