I am very interested in seeing the pics. And also any wear information you can provide on those exact ones after you install. My dealer will put them in, but he claims the pads will wear much faster than OEM.

Hey guys, I have a 2012 A7 and just (today) had EBC slotted rotors and EBC red stuff installed on all 4 tires. I found the best price via carid (pads) and autoanything (rotors with coupons they have going). I spent $500 for the pads and rotors and an extra $30 on sensors from Amazon.

Please post your experience with these after you log 500 miles or so, would you please? Also some pics would be nice if possible?

So these pads do not come with sensors? How did you know which sensors to buy? I have a 2012 A6 (Prestige).

RockAuto.com has a sensor section. They mention rotor size.

A6 3.0L - 14.0/13.0 (356/330 mm)

Thanks for the reply. Actually just ordered Audi OEM parts on audiusaparts website. Good to know for future.

The ECB parts were more expensive than Audi OEM. So stuck to Audi parts. Are the ECB parts that much better?

In case this helps someone...also replacing rotors with the dimpled/slotted EBC's and Akebono pads (virtually no dust and no squeals). The best price I've found is from placeforbrakes.com. Pads, rotors & 1 liter of ATE fluid shipped for 500.00. The pads come with sensors and shims. They also will also price match. Cheers!

It would interesting to hear your results. I've been painfulybsuffering through stock brake's squeeling and would like to hear about something that works and is not noisy

Keep us posted

I got 70K miles off the original pads and rotors, but I do a lot of highway driving. I changed to EBC Slotted (not slotted and dimpled) and Red Stuff and absolutely love them. No noise at all (which you sometimes get with dimpled rotors), great stopping power and virtually zero brake dust.
My Audi dealer was happy to install them, since I don't have the time.
