I used to only notice the jerkiness 1-2 when first pulling out of my garage in the morning. This TCM update seems to have softened that out.
I can confirm that. Usually 1-2 jerk is worst in the morning. But I did not feel it this morning.

Had mine done about 2 weeks ago and it was smooth as could be from 1-2 at first, but now it seems to be a little jerky again.....

As for the transmission update, it is definitely a newer update than the one released some time ago to fix the 1-2 2-1 jerkiness. Not sure if it is placebo effect but shifting seems smoother and crispier.
I don't have my paperwork with me, but I believe the steering update is new. I had the old one done last spring, and when I just had my car in a couple of weeks ago they applied a new one (although I didn't notice anything about a transmission update). It hasn't been super cold here since, so I'm not sure if I see an improvement or not.

Had mine update in my 2012 weeks ago. Dealer said I wouldn't notice a difference.

+1 on this.

My car is a beast on Sport mode now after getting the update. It feels like I got chipped

Now it almost always downshifts one gear when I go from D to S, and maintains the revs a bit higher. Looks like Audi got it right with this update!

Had mine updated a few weeks ago (the dealer asked me if I wanted to do it) and have started to notice the jerkiness from 1-2 at low speeds when the engine is cold. I have never noticed this before the update and am kinda disappointed. I doubt there is a way to go back and hopefully this goes away

Ditto. I never complained, go this update without asking for it on 2 January and now have an issue I never had before:

the steering update is NOT mandatory. I have refused it each time, the latest being a month ago. They are not going to force that crappy light steering on me

Good on you.....those heavy dynamic steering days are sorely missed
