I'm hoping to have my trim redone with a carbon fiber finish from OCarbon. Does anyone have experience with removing the interior wood trim/inlays on the C7 A6? The doors and dash should be easy, but the center console trim looks tricky. I think it involves removing the shifter/MMI system.

I haven't heard of anyone taking a C7 apart yet. Maybe that guy that rebuilt the white wreak...

Check with oCarbon. They should know how to take a Audi apart. Check YouTube for other Audi deconstructs. They should be similar. You're a pioneer - try not to catch any arrows. Take pictures and write a DIY for the next guy.

I am in the middle of getting my c7 trim done by o carbon, pics will follow. The centre piece can only be removed by taking the whole centre console out I'm afraid. Not a quick job but will be worth it when it's done !!

Yup. I actually ended up buying OEM Carbon Fiber trim and swapping out my wood trim.

If anyone is interested in purchasing the carbon fiber trim set from me for their A6 let me know. I might be selling mine this year so I'd be swapping the original wood back in.
