vagcom limitation on 2016 a6 3.0?
Hi, I took my A6 to a local car shop and asked them to use Vagcom to default the auto-engine-shutoff setting to off. The guy with the Vagcom told me that he tried to do this but was unable to. Has anyone else here been able to successfully change this setting in their 2016 a6 3.0 with Vagcom?

@ez - give it a shot and let me know how it works out for you. if it works for you then maybe I can update the software for my car or get the shop to update the software for its vagcom.

Adaption channel 34 reading
a) worth of adaption channel 34 reduce by 4 (effected Bit 2 to 0) = SSA per default after each ignition on to off
or
b) add to worth of adaption channel 34 the worth 32 (effected Bit 5 to 1) = SSA with memory-function

I chose Option A and it worked on my 2016 TDI. The Start/Stop is now defaulted Off and I can turn it on when I need it. Only problem is at night that orange light on the lower dash is awfully bright even with brightness turned all the way down, so I usually turn it back on(press button)
