The trunk liner can be pulled off after removing the 2 screws in the pastic handle to close the lid and the 1 screw in the inside trunk opener. The black plastic cover of the hinges can stay on.

I use 2 5mm screws and drilled a 2mm hole right next to the square area where the clips are supposed to snap in. There is about 7mm between the outer skin and the inside frame. your dealer may be willing to show you how the trunk liner needs to be cut out so that you don't have to use screws. That's definitely the better option.

Nope, it goes in the storage area in the rear armrest and is small enough to fit
