Sorry to hear that, I haven't had any issues with my 920 since I got it in January.

That's weird. I tried both 920 and 1020 in my A6, and it works fine (2013 A6)

How do you initiate the partnership? From car or from phone.

Try both, and forget the phone (delete from car).

I got the new Verizon Lumia 928 and after deleting all the old Pairings, paired the 928 right up - zero issues so far and works great.

Something sounds "off" with your 920 setup. I would delete all current pairings from the Phone AND from the car and start over. See if that makes any difference.
