Default Is it worth it?
Hey guys sorry for making another thread about this.

Is the intake really worth it for our cars or just for the supercharger sound and no hp gains?

Minimal power gains, about 6-7hp. No sound unless you remove the top of the airbox or the whole box. The box muffles the whine.

Ohh gotcha, so basically instead of getting intake for it just remove the whole box to get the whine?

Yeah, what I ended up doing was getting an Injen, taking off the top of the box, and cutting out most of the bottom.

Oh ok. What do you think about USP Motorsports intake?

Also how good can you hear the supercharger whine from the inside when driving?

I think USP is really really overpriced.

With my setup, the whine was very noticeable. With others, I couldn't say.
