Xpipe resonator swap on 3.0t a6?

Xpipe resonator swap on 3.0t a6?
Anyone swap out the middle resonator with either x pipe or straight with rest left all stock?
How does it sound? Drone? It appears the s4 guys had good luck. Some said they had to have Audi retune the white noise function to reduce drone?
