Default 00 4.2 for sale $4500

In very good condition. Well taken care of, have owned since Nov 2010. Mostly highway miles, driving back and forth to Michigan. ADR M Classic 18" wheels with Kumho all season tires, 1.5 years old, plenty of tread left.

Have to drive daily to work only selling because I need something that gets 30+ mpg on the highway

Maintenance history:
Timing belt/water pump - 135K miles
Transmission oil & filter - 145K miles
Spark plugs, coolant tank, air filter, vacuum lines - 140K
ABS control unit replaced - 145K miles
Front CV joints replaced within last 10K miles
New front calipers, pads & rotors, brake fluid this year
Just changed engine oil & filter (Mobil1 full synthetic 5/10/14)
Always changed oil every 6 months with only full synthetic oil
New OEM xenon HID bulbs installed 3 months ago
New battery in January

Asking $6500

BUMP my situation has changed a bit and need to sell by the end of the month (registration expires, bought replacement vehicle).
Car just passed IL emissions, certificate is in the Flickr album. Selling for $4500 which I think is more than fair. Firm price.

Sounds like it should just go to auction. Heckuva good price, though! Good luck.

its got the more interesting interior color, yellow/cream and smurf blue, which turn some people off. I think its kind of a cool color scheme. Good luck on the sale add some more pictures.

I hardly ever see them in DC area for sale with low mileage...this ones is 14 years old, stuff happens and is expensive to fix unless you can do it yourself. So so gas mileage too. Hope it sells... I wish they ahd kept the 4.2 in the A6.
