0101 - 0441 codes but everything seems in working order.
I unplugged my maf and the car ran poorly.
I will clean with mafs cleaner to be sure.
I unplugged the purge valve, cleaned & wd-40.
I can hear & feel it ticking.
Both seem to be operating fine.
Any guess's?
I also have rough idle on cold start up. It smooths out on its own and runs great after slight warm up.

Looking down the threads page I figured out you got a 4.2 and the codes are for maf and purge valve or something.
Sorry, I'm of no help as I don't have experience with that engine, but a common vacuum issue would be the suction jet pump(if the 4.2 has one) especially if the car is driven on short trips a lot... Also I found out the hard way that a tiny hole in the exhaust pipe (specifically flex pipe) can 'throw out' the MAF sensor and the car was running rich(very poor milage).

Crappy auto zone code reader.
Auto zone convenced my wife they had the best code reader.
There code reader didnt mention the misfire!!
The hole problem was a bad coil pack. Unhook them untill I found the bad one. Replaced and now all my codes are gone.
Starts good.. Runs good..
Got to get a vagcom.
