On my audi a6 recently my EPC light came on so i changed my vehicle speed sensor, after some time the light came on again and i stalled at a red light with my rpms dropping to zero. Any help?

The EPC light is the Electronic Power Control which is basically a computer that controls your throttle (your car has a 'drive by wire' system), did you scan for codes? What lead you to believe that a vehicle speed sensor was causing this problem?? Most of all are you sure it's not the ESP light???

No i didnt scan for codes, but im not upset about replacing the sensor and yes it is the EPC light. Just a recap of things ive done before this started taking place,
*I rewired my after market radio
*My oil cap somehow went missing, so i drove without that till i noticed,

Vagcom/VCDS will show more than a generic OBD scan, this is the best means of diagnosis. It's hard for anyone to guess what's throwing the light with your info although I'm surprised that the car even ran normal or idled without the oil cap "huge vacuum leak", not too much more to say here.
