10mm rear spacers after H&R race springs.
I had an idea, and wanted to float it to the forum, and see what everybody thinks. I installed a set of H&R's race spec springs. The car ended up at the perfect height (for me) and it looks great as well. The issue that I have is cosmetic. The car is level. I mean literally, perfectly level. Front to back of course. My OCD complains that this rough on the eyes. I had the idea of making a 10mm spacer that would go between the shock/spring assembly in the rear, where the assembly meets the body. It just seems too easy. Any input would be appreciated.

at the top? Not at the control arm... right?
a very quick answer is "its sounds ok, providing":
1. you find a way to make the mounting bolts longer
2. you dont mind the higher ride height
3. you ensure that it does not shift, the bolts will need to secure the upper spacer
4. you re align, and can
You could likely also space the lower spring perch.
Caution: i don't know what i don't know, never having BTDT.

i wouldnt be messing with suspension geometry ... i trust the German engineers more than your OCD .. just sayin
if you want to satisfy your OCD have the car corner balanced... then you know it is set up right regardless of how it looks ..

Well, suspension geometry will be off anyway by virtue of the shorter springs.
You do need to re-do camber and toe n any event ( they are inter-related).
That said, i'm trying to figger out if there is any difference between changing spring length and changing upper perch thickness. I dont think so. To Airbag's point, any change in ride height changes the arc that the wheel moves through, so even if you change the nominal geometry, it is different during dynamic working of the suspension. Not necessarily an issue - most of us have done it - but something to be aware of.
