2.7 Spark plug gap
Stock '04, 2.7 biturbo A6 SLine
What is the spark plug gap? Alldatadiy.com does not tell me or I cannot find it.
I'm installing Denso IK20's
Thanks all,
Scott.
Ps-I did search and can only find .032. They come gapped at "a lot" more. My gapping/gauging tool doesn't go that high. I have heard as much as .044.
Thanks again!

BEL engine:
eBahn:
Spark plugs 101 000 035 (NGK)
Manufacturer code => Parts catalog
Spark plug gap 0.4 to 0.6mm
Tightening torque 30nm
.4-6mm seems pretty tight, max .023".
OTOH, NGK says .032. Bentley publishers say they only put in what Audi gives them. I say garbage in, garbage out. Bentley apparently does no fact check or even sanity check.
I'd use the NGK recommendation.
