2.7t A6 not starting.
Hey all. So I've had my a6 for about 3 months now. The battery was old and has been causing some trouble starting since I've had it. Now sunday, an interior light was left on and killed it completely. I was able to jumpstart it and it ran perfectly. Later it wouldn't start again, so I bought a new battery. It then still refused to start. Just cranks and nothing else. I've got it to start once by cranking it for about 30 seconds, and then repeatedly started like 5 times after that. Now it refuses to start all together.
So I guess my question is, where do I start?

I would lift the back seat, and listen to the fuel pump. See if it is spinning when someone turns the ignition.
Vag-Com could be helpful...
Have you tried flooring the gas pedal while you start it?

Yes I've tried that. Iv'e also since replaced the fuel pump relay and coolant temp sensor. Still no go. I'm not hearing the fuel pump or relay with the key in the on position though.

Well, get your volt meter, pull the connector to the pump (it is under the plate that just unscrews), and have someone turn the key to "on" while you have the meter pressed into the two connections. If you get voltage that roughly resembles your battery voltage (about 12V), then you have juice going to the pump and it should be turning on. If you have juice to the pump and it is NOT turning on , you have either bad wiring within the pump (just check for continuity with your meter), or you have a bad pump.

Ok all fuses checked and good. With the key on everything works. There is a solid epc light though. At the moment a tow truck is coming to take it to a local euro dealer repair shop for a diagnostic scan.
