Default 2001 A6 4.2 quattro center tunnel heat shields

I have a 2001 audi a6 4.2 Quattro. I am rebuilding my drive shaft and noticed my front cv joint on the drive shaft was almost dry when I removed it. I think this is from not having a heat shield/splash guard protecting that specific cv joint.

My question is does anyone know where I can find one? that will fit my car. I have a vin# if someone needs it.

thanks for all your help.

I wouldnt get to caught up on blaming the lack of heat shield. ujoints run dry, it's just kind of what they do when they are failing.

Mine dried out even with the stock heat shields in place - at around 140,000 miles - to the extent that I could hear the ***** rattling in the tracks. I repacked with a synthetic grease which may be more tolerant of heat.
