2002 Audi A6, 6 beeps and won't turn over.

2002 Audi A6, 6 beeps and won't turn over.
I have a 2002 Audi A6 Quattro. The second I put my key into the ignition the car makes 6 audible beeps through the interior of the car. I tried turning the car on, and the car won't turn over, then completely stops making any noise.
The interior lights turn on, but the head lights won't turn on.
Any insight? I need to get to work in the morning.
