4.2L AWN threw timing belt, valves replaced, now rockers noisy
looks like i have to replace exhaust and intakes, that's 16 rockers.. Audi wants 5K for them that's insane.. any help/suggestions most appreciated..

Get a used engine from shokan.com or buy a parts car
Figure about $4K for an 02S6 engine with under 51K miles on it. I did this at around 85K and it's been fine. You could also find a complete high mileage 2K4.2A6 at auction or online for even less than $4K.
