Default 4 pads or 8 pads front brake pads in 01 A-6 2.7T..?
Hi

I want to change front brake pads on my car 01 A6 2.7T, but I'm not sure if my car takes 4 pads or 8 pads. How do I know that?

Take off one of your front wheels and count the pads. Multiply x 2.

The other way is to look on the build sheet or paper in the spare tire wheel well and check the code. Google the code in the build sequence.

Or just look in there. If you can see 2 small pads its the 8 pad setup. If its one large pad, you have the 4 pad setup.
