hello,
I just rebuild my transmission in my 03 allroad and I noticed I have no end play at the torque converter input shaft,
all the clutch packs are new and the d drum and thew oil pump are perfectly in place.
it should be a little or it is normal to have none?
also how many quarts of fluid I need for fill the transmission and what tipe is the best?
what is the esso equivalency for non audi fluids?
at this point any suggestion will be great,the reassembly got a little bit complicated for align the 3 set of clutch packs under the pump,but I verify all the friction plates are seating right.
I haved to push down the pump with some pressure because the new o ring was stopping the pump to seat in place,the input shaft(inner)turn good with some effort,i guess is for rotating multiple clutches?
