99 A6 2.8 multiple miss fire, fuel pump?
Hello I have an 99 Audi A6 2.8 that is missing out badly and when I put fuel in it doesn't want to start it takes several cranks and I have replaced plugs, wires, ignition coils and modules, fuel filter and with none of this helping I've moved on to the fuel pump. With engine at idle pressure reading is 3.5 bar and without the vaccum line on the regulator the pressure goes to 4 bar which I think is correct, but when I turn off the engine the pressure reading is only 2.7 bar when I think it's supposed to be at 3bar, could this be a faulty fuel pump? If not I'm going to move on to the fuel injectors, any insight would be appreciated thanks.
these are my codes P0455,P0300,0306,0303,0301,0304,0302,2 P1300'S for some reason and P1545

I had multiple misfires and your codes several times. The car sputtered under load but idling was fine. Causes:
1. Water on the wires after hosing down the engine.
2. Old fuel filter (maybe the original).
I doubt is the fuel pump; usually it works or not.
I suspect the fuel delivery (running lean). All injectors bat at once is unlikely; but test the injectors, take them out and crank the engine, see the spray pattern.
Also, it could be the air delivery: MAF malfunction. If you pull the MAF connector the car could still run in default based on the vacuum (hope I am corect). Try that, if it works wo/ MAF hooked up, it is the MAF sensor.

Given that the coolant temp sensor is a cheap $20 part, start there. Easy to replace yourself.
The throttle pos controller malfunction is what i would tackle next.
Chec the condition of the throttle body.

Just had a car in with very similar symptoms. Wires for throttle controller shorted together from some hack poking the wires with a test light and it fried the ECU, car ran, but awful and had missfires and throttle body malfunction code.

Thanks for the replies, I have since replaced all the vaccum hoses and even found a vaccum line going down the right side of the motor that was disconnected and I connected it back. The only codes I'm getting now is the random/multiple misfire and the misfire of the cylinder codes. I can smell fuel in the exhaust and I hear popping like back fire in the exhaust it also sounds like the exhaust has a hole in it near the left catalytic converter. The funny thing is yesterday I drove it and it was fine for about 10 minutes no misfires then 1 misfire then more to the point where the engine was shaking the car badly and actually shut off.
