Default Here are the codes

So, to recap: filled tank with wrong gas and fuel cap was initially not on completely tight. Driven 100 odd miles. CEL still on, came on after putting in the "wrong" gas.

4 Faults Found:
17831 - Secondary Air Injection System; Bank 1: Insufficient Flow
P1423 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
17819 - Shareware Version. To Decode all DTCs
P1411 - 35-10 - Please Register/Activate - Intermittent
16805 - Shareware Version. To Decode all DTCs
P0421 - 35-00 - Please Register/Activate
16815 - Warm Up Catalyst; Bank 2: Efficiency Below Threshold
P0431 - 35-00 - -

What are the odds I can just clear the DTCs and cross my fingers they don't come back after I load up premium gas?

Thanks again, everybody.

You have an issue with the SAI the first code, primarily leading to a cat condition.
Has nothing to do with the gas you used once.

Default I guess

I'll check the SAI fuse first or may be just take it back to the lot where I bought it from. Thanks

So - any suggestions on where to find the SAI pump fuse? I've searched everywhere and couldn't figure it out. It's a 2000 A6 2.8l Avant. Also, I don't think I can check the vacuum lines myself cos I can't hoist up the car in my tiny garage. Or can I do that with just the jack? Sorry for all the basic questions - i just couldn't seem to find anything on the forums that spelled it out. Thanks, as usual!

The SAI fuse and relay is located in the black plastic ECU case next to the brake fluid tank in the cowl area, you will need to remove the long rubber seal to pull out the cowl cover to see the sealed black case that has a few hex screws holding the lid cover and the rear corner one is a trick (use a small 1/4" driver and socket) I'm thinking 6mm.

How about the relay?
So far I've replaced one on my 04.
