Do those aftermarket replacement flex joints last? I've seen ones for $11 on eBay and about $40 from ECS. Do they hold up? I do not have welding ability. Do you just buy these and take to a Meineke or similar? What should I expect to pay to have them installed.

If your not doing the work don't bother with buying them and bringing them to a repair shop because they really won't be different than they use and most all shops will not warranty any work with walk-in parts "not in your best interest", the average price at a reputable muff shop is in the range of $450 to $600 for both do the math for one and should last at least 6 to 8 yrs.
