I switched car off and it seemed to level but slowly.....now the orange ligh tis on but the car still levels and drives ok?? Could it be water in electrics on compressor??thanks

Very well could be. Check to be sure the sensor is still in the correct position. Sometimes wet heavy snow or slush can splash with enough force to dislodge connectors, plugs, etc.

Default Try the Allroad forum if not the C6 forum?

People love the Allroad except for the air suspension that becomes problematical over time. NOBODY has successfully engineered a reliable, durable air suspension be they GM Cadillac, Ford Lincoln, or Audi. I just drove a Porsche Macan S without it…the Porsche guys don't like it for a reason…when it goes outside of warranty it's an expensive fix, same as on the Allroad.

D3 air suspension is reasonably reliable. Even when it does break it's not too expensive. A pair of rebuilt struts can be had for $900 and if you manage to burn out a compressor another $500-$1000 depending on what you buy. I do my own work but I can't imagine labor would be too bad as both jobs are easy. If you own the car for 15 years and say 200k miles you would probably have to do this once. Pretty cheap repair considering it was $80k+ new.
