Anyone driven the new C400 AWD Benz?
I'm looking to replace wife's 2K4.2A6Q and driven
1. CTS-V with twin turbo V6..RWD only but wicked fast and cool interior. GM OWNS the new car stink!
2. Infiniti, both the G37 follow on and the M car follow ons, one with 3.7L and both M with 3.7 and 5.4 (5.4 420hp definitely needed!)
3. BMW 435 gran coupe (it's really a 4door hatch)…fast but not as fast as M3 sedan (turbo L6).
4. Audi A3 (too small, needs turbo v6 or 350hp L5)
5. Audi A6 diesel (new C7(8?) A6 got bigger than C5
6. S4 right size, not so sure about reliability given two 4.2 engines…LOL!
I'd like the A4 with the V6 diesel but all they have is the 4-pot. The V6 is down on torque to the MB but a few more hp. The S4 is also about 200# heavier.
7. Last, and so far on top, is MB C400. Seems to be in a sweet spot with twin turbo V6 329 hp, 354 torque and 7 speed trans. Don't need 8, frankly six is enough. The trans isn't ZF (dunno if MB is any better…still gonna change fluid at 50K unless I lease the car which is looking better and better). Good suspension and sport+ setting, AWD….
