Default Audi A6 brakes with a grinding sound while foot is on the gas pedal.

While I am driving the Audi A6 has a grinding sound and the car brakes while I have my foot on the gas pedal. This happened while going 65-70 miles/hour and the car fish tailed and went out of control!!! This happens very intermittently without any warning. Audi has replaced the Yaw Sensor two times and it works for awhile then it happens again.

What year and model do you have?

Honestly if you had Audi assuming an Audi dealership do the work I'd be up in arms with them about this problem, this sounds like a very serious problem.

Audi A6 27TQ 2003. The Service guy said he would not be able to get Audi to pay for this seeing as it is not a recall. I said this isn't a matter of recall this is a matter of my life! We already paid once with Audi and once with a private Audi Service and I still have the problem.

Based on what you said my only advice would be to complain about the repair based on the problem's reoccurrence suggesting that something was improperly diagnosed or overlooked, this one is a real touchy thread because nobody can give you repair advice on repair work that you did not do and we don't know the whole story on the other side.

Hope you report back with a resolution on this and good luck pressing the dealership to get it right.
