unless those ducts are recessed naca ducts they will not flow enough air to the transmission. i will not buy one untill they fix that.. 240 for skidpate. 24000 new transmission

Would love to see some crash test images. Maybe a picture of the damage, the nature of the impact, etc. While ground clearance is important, there's something to be said for clearance between the skid and the car's vitals too. If a rock/curb/stump hits the skid and the skid hits the oil pan, a/c compressor, etc, then what good was the skid?

Thats nice but I as well as others with H-sport sway bars who are lowered, that wouldnt work for us.But I think its not a bad idea.

I am interested, but can't commit to buying just yet. I would like to see more pictures of it installed if possible. Also, I was going to put on H-sport sway bars (already have them here, just not installed) so if it doesn't work with those that is kind of a downer.

I bought the Panzer skid plate from dieselgeek.com
same price, one peice, thicker, vents like the stock cover, and the vents & bolt holes are recessed. great buy. email jim at the site and tell him Rick with the a4 convertible sent you

Default Go pants-less .... oooops ......... I mean pan-less

then it stays cool and its easy to get the oil filter out too
