You sure the cap isn't leaking? They do go bad
this is actually the second tank I put in. The first one was from europa parts dot com. I know for sure that it's not the cap because it doesn't leak out of the overflow hole under the tank so it is holding pressure. The coolant trail is in the front of the tank.

I also like fuel injection hose type clamps. I wouldn't replace the hose. If you can't turn the clamp/hose on the nipple it should hold. It sounds like your worm clamp is too big and is probably running out of track. They don't work too well on small hoses anyway.

I would tend to agree with the previous post if the clamp spins then it is not really sealing the connection. Did you transfer the old level sensor to the new tank or does the tank come with a sensor installed? Is there a gasket that seals the sensor in the tank?

The level sensor is built into the tank, no gaskets needed with the connection.

Hey guys sorry I let this fall by the way side. I been busy with work nd been sick too. Yes the level sensor is integrated into the tank. I'm gonna go today and buy the clamps and also pick up a dealer cap because I'm running a cheap Chinese cap and I'm not trusting it for some reason.
