Like you said, the sensors are locate it underneath the mas air flow. Passenger side, there are two, and this engine has 4. Now, which one is 1 and which one is two? The top being number one and the bottom as number two? As for me I went the g40 is on the top. I will provide pictures today.

Also, the sensors only have one Allen bolt and no more. Not sure where do you get 6 bolts from.

good that you found it. sorry, no pdf from Bentley, on old xp machine with no external connections. But the diagram for the valve train service, requiring removal of sensors, shows the sensors mounted on a bracket with 6 bolts, so I suppose they are pulling both sensors at the same time. Sensors on 2.7 are held by allen, so yours is the same.

The G40 is listed as the intake cam sensor, so it will be on the intake manifold(inner) side of the head. I suppose this is what you mean by top since the head slopes. Exhaust would be on the outer side, where the exhaust manifold is leading to downpipes. Keen grasp of obvious.
