Default Camshaft skipped during cam seal replacement

Im in the middle of valve cover gasket replacement and was following a guide to replace the cam seals. I was trying to loosen the bolt behind the camshaft sensor, while i was holding it with some pliers, but it moved and now flat end on camshaft is now facing downwards. im afraid that this will mess anything up. Both flat ends on shafts were facing each other inwards, and now the right side(passengers side) which im working on flat end is facing downwards.
Is there any way to straighten this up? What if I now change my drill to turn the shaft counterclockwise? will it move it and align to were it was at before
