Hi all,

Very long time since my last post. Other than the fender flares of the 4.2 that make it the "widebody" is there really other dimensional changes between them? If I got say a back seat from a 4.2 would it fit in the 2.7? I mean the hood from a 4.2 is the same as the hood from a 2.7 or 2.8 or any other C5, right? I want an interior change and just wondering if an interior from an 8 cylinder C5 A6 would work in a 6 cylinder C5 A6.

Most of the interior will swap directly. The 4.2 has a different floor pan to accommodate the wider transmission tunnel so the carpets and floor mats are specific but the rest is the same.

The V8 hood does not fit on a V6 without doing a full front end swap.
