Coolant reservoir needs replacement. I see the price range on these anywhere from $23.00 to $120+ for OEM. Did anyone replace this and if so, where did you get it and how much? I am trying to find a comparable at low cost.

Both. Neither one seems to last for more than 5-7 years. C5 is an oldster; replace it with the least expensive one you can find.

If you get can OEM for as low as $23, go for it.

I would but no one sells OEM at that price. Hence the post to see others' experience (if any) with aftermarket version. Maybe OEM at lowest cost is the best option here. I don't compromise on things that can get me stranded. Overheating engine is probably in top 5 on that list.

My previous Coolant Tank leaked on the way back home on Christmas Day. I couldn't find an OEM replacement for less than $45. However, sometimes one can get lucky and find the Original Equipment Supplier (OES) for cheap, and quality is as good, if not better, than the OEM. From my understanding, OEM simply has the Genuine Audi Logo on the part and Audi is usually liable for the faulty part.
