Default Non-operating passenger window - A6
Hi, I've been reading all the posts I could find on 2003 A6 windows on this forum and if nothing else I've been able to eliminate a couple of possibilities.
So here's what I have:
1. Passenger window will not go down or up
2. All the windows roll up and down using the key so I have to assume all 4 motors are good(?)
3. I replaced the master switch on drivers door but wouldn't acvtivate passenger window
4. My understanding is that it is probably a broken wire so where is the most obvious place to start looking for a broken wire?
5. Because all my windows work with the key is it save to assume that the 'regulators' are all OK?
Thanks everyone!!

Sounds like you may have a broken/damaged wire in the harness that goes through the door next to the hinge. I'd check the driver's door first as it gets the most use. If the widow operates correctly with the key then I would think your problem is an electric one in the wiring or switch.
