OK, received them and they look good as they sit. They have a slightly textured finish, almost looking like "sand cast" aluminum.
I still need to fit them to the car and see if there are any issues.
They only attach at the ends with screws and don't have the center clips (as I expected).
I plan on replacing the screws with stainless steel and will probably use 3M trim tape to help relieve any concerns of the screws working loose, and also to seal the open slots in the door where the clips normally fit.
Still have to decide on the color, but leaning towards Rustolium Silver or Rustolium Aluminum over automotive grade plastic primer and either Rustoleum UV protected clear coat or automotive grade clear coat.
Pictures will follow but it will be a while.
