Filmstudent in need of saving his car Audi A6 C5
Cape Town. In two months time in december I will be travling back to my parents home where they live out in the country. In the garage stands 18 year old Audi A6. Thats my car. My car is the only thing that can help go out in the world. I live in a place where everyone needs a car. With my luck my car broke down months before I was supposed to get back home again. Im a broke student and my parents are also broke. We don't have that much money and cant afford reparing it. Norway is a very expensive country. So as im writing this text in my small room in a student house here in Cape Town. I'm now trying find different alternatives to fund my repairs for my car. I really really hope this will work. I will post pictures and videos of the progress and give out updates. Hope people out here will help out.

So the issues I have with the car is a new replace all 4 brakes. 1 punctured winter tire and by some reason car slighty turns to the right even thoughthe steering wheel is dead centered. And theres oil leaking from the engine.

You think $1,000 is enough to replace all 4 brakes, get a new tire and fix your suspension?
I think you need a bicycle or motorcycle.
If you are a student, you must not be working at Christmas time, so maybe stay home with your parents?
Bottom line I don't think you can afford to maintain this car if you need people to give you $1,000.

Sell it
You can't afford to fix it, run it, or maintain it.

You posted on a great forum and if you are seeking DIY advice on how to fix up your C5, this is an excellent resource with some very knowledgeable folks. However, if you are just seeking a handout for a car that you can't really maintain, I'd suggest you move on. The old adage of teaching a man to fish vs. giving him a fish, is appropriate.
What you've described that needs to be fixed isn't too much:
brakes - there are a ton of youtube vids and you can even pick up used parts for cheap, if you are so inclined.
tires - again, used tires with good tread is easy.
steering - could be anything from tires to suspension to steering components
oil leak - again far too many possible causes - valve covers, oil cooler, etc...
Good luck
BTW, your vid states the car is an "A6 B5", it's should read "A6 C5"
