Default Fuel pressure testing (petrol)

Alright, so i own the V6 2.4 121kW model, which is basically the same as 2.8 V6.
I can't find anywhere on the internet what fitting(threads etc) should i use between the fuel supply pipe and the rail?

Default Or do it the Audi way with the proper adapters and fuel pressure gauge.

I can't get into ebahn right now, you might try the bentley manual.

What i've gathered is that i need some special adapter, namely i'm missing 1318/7. Has anyone made that piece on his own, knows the thread?

So uh, why are you trying to check fuel pressure? Just curious

My mixture is rich(Vag-com long term fuel trim -13.3 and -16.4) and i'm suspecting the FPR and injectors(Probably leaking or the spring has gone lazy over 18 years.). Vacuum to FPR is good and it didn't leak gas, PCV system is new(excluding the lower oilpan connection) and the suction jet pump gave a good vacuum. The O2 sensors i think would rather show a lean condition than rich if they were bad. MAF is good(tested via vagcom), even cleaned it last year with the special spray.
Now i'm thinking of changing air & fuel filter and adding the injector cleaner fluid into my gas tank. Right now i really want to test the fuel pressure, to see if my pressure isn't too high and that the FPR or injectors aren't leaking(Fuel pump was changed around 4 years ago).
My car is 97' 2.4 V6 ALF with 5spd manual tranny, i'm thinking of building a 1.9 TDI quattro since i live in a place where there's tons of audis and parts are extremely cheap.

I even got a cheap 6AN manometer fitting from ebay and some hoses for the fuel pressure tester, everything fits besides the connection between fuel supply line and the manometer fitting(strange thread).

Haha i even had a dream, where the injector O-rings were leaking so bad that it squirted gasoline all over the place, including into my eyes...

If your suspecting injectors, they usually will cause awful hard warm starts if they are leaking. MAF sensor is a real common culprit to rich codes i have found
