Default Help in 1st Home made service

Hi guys,

I have a Audi A6 Avant Tdi 150cv (4B) from 2000. Its a diesel.
It now has 465.000kms!!!!
Yes, thousands of kms I only left me on the road once, due to a diesel pump failure.
Has been always assisted in the official dealership since new but its now getting very expensive considering the kms and the age. Its out of the world expensive here in Portugal.
This is why I'm thinking in start doing the services in my garage but I do not have much experience.

I have just a couple of questions:
- Here is the oil filter located in this engine?
- How to change the fuel filter?

Thank you

This might help:

do google search for fuel filter location and you'll probably get a video of that as well.

I would suggest buying a service manual for the car. They are available online.

Service manuals tend to look at the larger picture and do so more comprehensively than taking pot shots in an online forum.
