The braded is the power out of the solenoid and into the starter motor) (12V when the pin 50 receives 12V AND the solenoid is working)(Usually associated with a "Click")
Pin 30 is power into the starter solenoid from the battery (12V always)
Pin 50 is switch power into the solenoid coil from the starter switch circuit (12V during START)

That sounds correct... Same power I have recorded with the same sound. So that confirms it is the starter, no? Also, I am looking at used starters on eBay to save some dough for the new gasket/timing belt kit. Is that a bad idea? There are some on there with "lifetime" warranties...

My preference is;
1) Factory refurbished
2) Locally refurbished
3) New
4) Used

If hard to change;
1) Factory refurbished
2) New
3) Locally refurbished

Just ordered one yesterday with 90k on it from eBay. I still haven't gotten under the car to bridge the two terminals but I'm 99% sure it's the starter at this point since all of them are getting power appropriately. I got it for $45 so if I get under there tomorrow and it magically powers up... not much lost.

Edit: Did you successfully pull yours through the fender well? I ended up ordering a full timing belt/gasket kit to take care of everything at the same time as well as the locking bar + pin and chain tensioner holder to do the gaskets there. If all else fails I'll just pull it through the front end. I've already got the car on jack stands and waiting to pull the front clip off it.

Yes mine came out through the fender well. If you take it out through the front I think you have to remove the alternator first
This is a pretty miserable job no matter how you slice it
I have a 2.8 so the aux coolant pump is down there too which makes it even worse.
