Default How do I achieve a more aggressive shift?

I believe that my auto is starting from 2nd gear. Its an incredible inconvenience. I feel that I'm losing a degree of control in my foot pedal due to the lack of response that I'm getting when I accelerate. I hear a lot about re-coding the trans to achieve a more aggressive shift, but I am unsure if this is the problem. Is there a way to re-calibrate the accelerator pedal, and if not, what are the steps involved in the vag-com setup? Oh, in tip mode, I can start from first with no issues. Also, the trans feels like it wants to get to the highest gear as soon as it can.

The easier you drive, the lazier the shift is. The more aggressive you drive, the more aggressive its shifts. Either a) you have trained it to sleep, or b) it has a fault and wont start in 1st gear.
