Default Identify this part please!

Hi everyone,

I have a leak. I took some pictures where I believe the car is leaking. Can you help identifying what part this leak is coming from? It's right next to the transmission oil pan, possibly where the axle attaches to the transmission?

2003 A6 Avant 3.0 Quattro

Zoomed out picture. Looking at the underside of the car from the front:

Close up. Here's the residue from the leak:

Default drop belly pan, take pics or look at axle flange

Drop the belly pan and see if the leak is coming from the axle flange seal…it's a relatively easy fix.
I like to spray Gunk engine cleaner around there and hose it off, let it dry, and then run it around the block and see if that is where it leaks.
