It's good to see somebody who is so dedicated to their new owned car. Things have been falling apart since you bought it but you keep staying positive and having them fixed. Keep it on, you will be rewarded.

BTW this is a 10+ years old performance car. Most parts must be weak, worn or damaged so I think you should go easy with it until you know in which conditions it performs the best.

Well it seems my fuel leak is coming from the seal and/or hat for the fuel level sender. I am halfway tempted to but the seal only but the senders hat was pretty filled too so it may have a crack in it. I learned the hard way to wait until a 1/4 tank. I forgot the tank rose another several inches in the back and had 3/4 of a tank. As soon as I loosened the sender fuel just pured out and a good cups worth ran inside. I caught it before it hit carpet but a little did hit some of the sound rubber glued to the floor under the seat. 　
I will just wait until I kill another 1/4 tank and try again. The lock ring was only on half way though and I made it tighter so that may just have cured the leak itself. Fingers crossed. I will just watch it for the next week and see what happens.


And thanks Kelisko. This has been a dream car of mine for years. Not going to let a few maintenance and wear items slow me down on enjoying it. Every used car I have ever purchased has had issues. If it was perfect it would not have been sold. Its like my truck. It looked alright and was clean and in the first year I 100% overhauled the brakes, suspension, steering, A/C, heater system, cooling system and fuel system. 3 years latter the truck runs me $90 a year in service plus fuel AND most of my customers have offered me 2.5X its book value.

It will take several months but I will have this RS6 fully sorted this year to where all I have to worry about is gas and oil changes. Actually I have to go look up its oil change interval as i do not have an owners manual.

Well shes becoming a member of the family real quick. Spent every day of my 3 day weekend doing updates and repairs. Fixed her brakes, found the fuel leak (level sender hat gasket), ordered the output shaft seal, installed all new hubcaps, had it tinted (what ya think), replaced the center console lid (NIB $13), repaired the bad *** Escort 9500ci radar detector with scramblers, removed the ski pass box to help the bass and got the USB and bluetooth working. Don't mind the dirt, she needs another bath. Waco is so dirty and its been 5 days anyway. LOL

Now if I can just get the dang garage door to sync.

Held 1&3 until done flashing. Held button one while it was flashing and coded the remote to it (rapid flashing) and when that stopped I put the door opener in learn remote mode and there is no blue light flash like my other cars did. Something isn't compatible.

Well a thorough wash and just a hand wax by me and then $175 to the PDR guy and the car is now 100% ding free! Only had 9 all together and two I didn't even see until he put the light on it. Love this car.

Sometimes its the littlest things that make me happy. LOL I am a smoker (boo hiss) but not in this car. Love the factory Audi leather smell. Prepping the car for a complete detail I opened up the ashtray for the first time and was pleased to see that the front and side ones have never been used. Don't look like they ever had a gum wrapper in them. Not a burn anywhere. Even the cigarette lighters look like they have never even been tried! LOL Love a car thats been so well taken care of. Car just makes me smile every time I drive it. I must look like an idiot at stop lights just starring at my cluster and smiling like I just farted.

What a PITA day! The dang front brakes fit but are wrong even though the website said they were for the Alcon Mono-6 so gotta reorder those. Rear brake pads were also wrong. Didn't know RS6 had two different rear brakes and I have the 300's so those I will just keep. They were $21 and return fee is $5.25 and return shipping is $7 so why bother? LOL
Also was sent the wrong tail shaft seal but we found one. At least the trans got serviced and the seals replaced. Also got some pics of the exhaust. It has to have the high flow cats.
